Hollywood stars have very stressed lives and need to be on set at different times and for long periods. They also must travel extensively, and this plays heavily on their stress levels. Meditating has relieved them of the stress and helped them to relax and be more present wherever they find themselves during shoots.

Angelina Jolie is an actress, director, author, philanthropist, and humanitarian. She is also a mother of six and practices meditation daily. She says everyone has a different way of meditating and hers involves her children. She says, “I find meditation in sitting on the floor with the kids coloring for an hour, or going on the trampoline,” Angelina added “You do what you love, that makes you happy, and that gives you your meditation. Everybody has their meditation style.”

 Eve Mendes

Eve Mendes this Hollywood actress started her meditation journey in 1998 as a young 24-year-old who visited the world-famous cemetery in Paris, Père Lachaise. She enjoys meditating in cemeteries as she likes the peaceful quiet of graveyards. Eve says, “I’m actually huge into meditation, transcendental meditation, and that really helps create not only a sense of balance but all the other stuff—this is going to sound cliche—but serenity and kind of a calm state of mind.”

 Tracee Ellis Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross is an actress and daughter of Diana Ross who uses her meditation breathing techniques to bring calm and relieve stress. She shares her meditation routine with her follower on Instagram and has been reported as saying that “necessary tectonic shifts are happening in our world.” she uses these breathing techniques regularly.
