Hangover III

The Hangover Part III is scheduled to be released in theaters May 23, 2013. It is the third film in the series that stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha.

When Alan’s father passes away, the whole gang decides to get Alan help for his mental issues. This time there is no wedding and no bachelor party. So what could possible go wrong?

Well things do start do go wrong on the way to the hospital when Doug gets kidnapped and the gang is assaulted. The gang must find Mr. Chow once again so he can be turned in to the gangster who took Doug.

But does the latest Hangover hold up to the other two? According to critics, no is doesn’t! Movie critics have stated that the third installment is the weakest of all three films and really only appeals to diehard Hangover fans. This is slated to be the final Hangover movie.

There is just nothing that is new or fresh about this latest installment. It is nothing but a re-tread of the original Hangover. Although the first Hangover was a huge hit, it just seems like the characters are going through the motions on this one. Alan does have a romance this time around with Cassie played by Melissa McCarthy. Cassie is the female version of Alan. Cassie brings a sense of newness to the movie.

So it seems that the original Hangover was just a one hit wonder.
