Britney’s abs have been famous for being well defined and strong. However, the singer says that her abs or her toned body did not happen overnight and required many sit-ups and ab work.
She also said that although crunches helped, she has strengthened her core because of her Las Vegas residency show at Planet Hollywood. The need to constantly perform and look her best has created a daily routine that involves running, swimming and dancing.
Britney says that rehearsing her routines takes a lot of energy and she sees herself rehearsing at least 3 to 4 hours a day. The energy-fuelled workouts have also caused her to slow down and enjoy yoga, which helps to heal her mind and body.
The star stays consistent by eating healthy 80% of the time. She eats a lot of lean proteins, vegetables, fruits and healthy carbs. However, she says that she does indulge once in awhile with her family and friends. Her go to cheat meals include tacos, pizza, ice cream, and Oreos.
When asked about how she maintains her healthy body, Britney says that she now never stops moving. Her mornings always start with lots of push-ups, morning stretches, reps at the gym, hikes and virtually never-ending dance routines. The singer also adds that the variety means that she never gets bored and is always ready to give her best to every form of exercise.
