Thieves At The X-Factor Auditions

X Factor USA Judges
While Simon Cowell is being charged for “thievery” by not honoring the 2005 contract which stipulates that Simon Fuller (the creator of American Idol) should get “a piece of the pie” from the X Factor earnings, this new reality TV show, which is now being launched in the United States, has been catching some thieves in the form of wannabe singers.

Yes, in similar fashion to American Idol, the X Factor is now separating the wheat from the chaff through its auditions which are being held throughout the country but what has been intriguing is that those who were denied their shot at X Factor glory aren’t necessarily leaving empty handed.

Interestingly, most of these singer wannabes have been getting their hands dirty by robbing perfume and makeup which are available to them in the rehearsal rooms yet unbeknownst to them their every move is being filmed using a two-way mirror. This leaves the show’s officials with a dilemma as to whether they should kick the ones who have made it to the second round out.

What makes this most surprising is that these thieves are the last people that you would expect to do something like this – the quiet ones. Some industry insiders think that this alternative (of booting these talented ‘thieves’ out) isn’t a good idea but the footage might be used for the spin-off show, Xtra Factor.

As the producers are in a rush to buy some more makeup and perfume, the contestants have been warned once again that they will be filmed not only during the audition process but when in make-up as well, hopefully to prevent a repeat of this kind of uncivilized behavior.
