Who doesn’t want flawless skin? In an effort to get that picture-perfect complexion, models, actors, and everyday professionals often shell out a lot of money for quality skincare products. From miracle wrinkle treatments to the best face washes, the best and most luxurious skincare products of today can cost you anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars. But getting flawless skin doesn’t have to leave you bankrupt.

As a working model, actress, and TV host, I’ve come to depend on a variety of beauty products to keep my face looking clear and healthy. While some are costly, I admit, others can be found at my local drug store for under $12. From the best zit treatment to the perfect facial toner and a facial cleanser that is so gentle you can use it on babies, here are three affordable beauty products that will keep your skin looking clear and beautiful for years to come.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser

Who isn’t on the lookout for that perfect daily cleanser, a product that deep cleans the skin without leaving it dry and irritated? When it comes to affordability, Cetaphil Daily Cleanser wins my award for the best facial cleanser on the market. According to its website, it’s so gentle you can use it on babies. I love it because it unclogs my pores without causing more breakouts. And, I can find it at any local drug store for around $11.

How to Use: Use it twice a day (once in the morning and once before bed) to clean makeup and dirt from your skin.

Witch Hazel Astringent

It’s hard to find a facial toner that doesn’t sting, let alone one that doesn’t strip valuable moisture from your face. But witch hazel astringent tones and cleanses the face without doing either. No more stinging! Witch hazel astringent also reduces skin irritations and puffiness without using artificial fragrances or dyes. It’s the perfect facial toner for people with sensitive skin, and can be found at your local drug store for under $5.

How to use: Apply a generous amount of the liquid on a facial pad and gently rub on your neck, face, and even on your eyelids. It’s gentle enough to use daily.

Tea Tree Oil

According to the Mayo Clinic, tea tree oil can be used to treat a variety of conditions, from fungal infections such as athlete’s foot to parasites. But what I’ve discovered is that this potent oil can get rid of a nasty pimple in just a few days. Used directly on a pimple, tea tree oil can be used as the best zit treatment money can buy. You can find 100 percent tea tree oil at any drug store for around ten bucks.

How to use: Dip a clean q-tip directly into the bottle and dab the oil on the pimple. Since 100 percent pure tea tree oil can burn your skin, make sure to only apply the oil on the pimple itself, or dilute it a little according to your needs. The oil instantly dries out the pimple and in a few days, it’s gone. Keep in mind; some people are allergic to the oil, so it’s important to consult your doctor before trying out anything new.
